Hi lovely readers,

Welcome back to my blog. I hope you are all well.

Does anyone remember the “Mills & Boons” and “Harlequin” Novels era? I never owned one but I read quite a number of these growing up. I think they are responsible for a couple of weird characters I possess but I am not complaining one bit.

One of the weird characters I acquired from reading novels, is purchasing outfits that will not be practical in most occassions I attend. Take this skirt as an example, I bought it because the lacey fit has a romantic feel to it and it will be suitable for one of those dreamy occassions you read about in novels (Yes, I am nuts). Two years later, the skirt was neatly folded in my wardrobe unworn. But thank God for “all-white” kitchen parties, this skirt finally had the opportunity to leave the wardrobe. See, craziness can be useful at times, right?

Once again thanks for stopping by and have a great day.

Love Aika!

PS: Dont forget, crazy weird characters can be useful at times.

I am wearing:

Shirt & Skirt – Primark

Shoes – ASOS

Bag – Gifted

Watch – Gifted
